The Boston Symphony Orchestra is looking for Customer Service Representatives in our Call Center to serve on our 2012 Telefundraising Campaign and Subscription campaigns. You will be responsible for either raising money for all three brands of the BSO- the BSO, Pops and Tanglewood- or selling the 2012 BSO Subscription season.
It is an excellent opportunity for hands on experience in one of the world's most successful non-profit performing arts organizations!
Call Center Representatives will be responsible for filling out all order forms efficiently and neatly making sure that all patron inquiries and requests are handled appropriately as well as making sure that patron information is correct regarding gift amounts, subscription series and subscription series costs, membership and subscriber benefits, addresses, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers.
Qualifications: Telefundraising and sales experience is a plus but a willingness to make the case for the BSO and all three brands enthusiastically is required as well as, at least, general knowledge of the 18th -21st century symphony orchestra repetoire. Candidates must also work a minimum of 18 hours per week. Scheduling is flexible but you must be able to work a minimum of 3-4 weekdays evening nights. An excellent phone manner is essential. Good typing skills and being comfortable in the Windows software environment is helpful.
