The Boston Symphony Orchestra is looking for a Customer Service Representative in our Call Center to serve on our 2016 Telefundraising Campaign.  You will be responsible for raising money for all three brands of the BSO- the BSO, Pops and Tanglewood.  It is an excellent opportunity for hands on experience in one of the world’s most successful non-profit performing arts organizations!  The Call Center Representative will receive leads from our progressive dialing system and be responsible for roughly 100-200 calls per evening. Agent will make sure that patron inquiries and requests are handled appropriately as well as making sure that patron pledge  information is correct regarding gift amounts, membership, addresses, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers. 

Qualifications: Telefundraising and sales experience is a plus but a willingness to enthusiastically make the case for all three BSO brands is required as well as, at least, a general knowledge of the 18th - 21st century symphony orchestra repetoire. Candidates must also work a minimum of 18 hours per week. Scheduling is flexible but you must be able to work a minimum of 3-4 weekday evenings.   An excellent phone manner is essential. Good typing skills and being comfortable in the Windows software environment is necessary.
