TechTarget is seeking a Product Management Associate who will be primarily responsible for supporting the product marketing efforts of the Business Applications & Architecture Media Group. In this high-profile role, the Product Manager will work closely with the media group sales teams, centralized marketing and client support teams, and the Associate Publisher to support TechTarget’s growing portfolio of products and services.

Essential job functions:
 
  • Market existing product portfolio and spearhead new product roll outs, including managing all sales communication, prospect lists and overall positioning;
  • Respond to sales inquiries regarding audience footprint or product positioning (deliverables to sales include PPT decks, email copy, etc.);
  • Provide competitive insights and support a range of quantitative market research analysis projects;
  • Manage annual editorial products calendar, monitor product inventory and track sold product revenue;
  • Compile relevant editorial articles, create e-guides and compile product creation templates;
  • Ensure quick and smooth delivery of all editorial products working in tandem with the operations team; and,
  • Other duties as required.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
 
  • BS in Product Marketing/Management or other related discipline;
  • 2 -3 years’ experience in product marketing and, ideally, in the media/publishing or computer software industry;
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Acrobat; working knowledge of SurveyGizmo/Qualtrics;
  • Graphic design/layout experience a plus;
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data/present findings a must;
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Experience/knowledge of tech media industry a plus.
