Responsible to the Cage Manager for successful performance of assigned duties.
Responsible for the supervision and performance of Cage Supervisors, Cage Cashiers, Bankers, (Main Cage Bankers, Main Bank Bankers and Fill Bank Bankers), Tech personnel and other personnel as assigned to ensure accurate control over Casino funds.
Ensure all Policies and Procedures are consistently complied with.
Review staffing levels to ensure business demands are met. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities as warranted. Development of staff to include disciplinary counseling up to and including termination and conducting Annual Performance Appraisals.
Review Cage shift activities with a Cage Manager and complete a daily Shift Report.
Meet with other department Supervisors and Managers as necessary.
Assist, advise and direct Cage personnel, as necessary, to assure the successful performance of their assigned duties. Train personnel as needed.
Follow and enforce strict procedural guidelines maintained within the department.
Prepares department weekly schedules and completes weekly payroll.
Has the ability to create/modify Policies and Procedures as necessary.
Is detail oriented.
Monitor and order supplies.
Monitor variances and ICER issuance.
Interact with staff on a regular basis.
Approve PTO for employees.
Monitor and direct SRU activity.
Enforce and monitor departmental Standards.
Perform audits as requested.
Attend meetings as required.
Read and respond to e-mail and telephone messages in a timely manner.
Monitor work areas for compliance and cleanliness.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and other team members.
Display a professional demeanor at all times.
Other duties as assigned
· Minimum of three years Casino Cage Management experience including Table Games
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Must possess organizational and planning skills
