TechTarget, the European leader for B2B online, enterprise IT media and events, is looking for a sales professional with 2-5 years of demonstrated sales success to join our rapidly growing EMEA team in London. This role will work as a specialist on a new, big data product which is crucial to our company’s growth in the region – IT Deal Alert™.
Great account managers join and grow with TechTarget because we are a leader in the space, we constantly deliver new products to sell and we give Account Managers complete control over their ability to reach their sales targets with no caps on their commissions or policies that work against them. Our thorough training will cover our value proposition, our products and our consultative sales strategy and brings a rep to the level of being an expert in the B2B online media space. You will work closely with your Sales Director to manage your accounts, develop client relationships and close sales. You’ll build your business through active prospecting over the phone and via email, meeting face-to-face with clients, attending trade shows and researching your technology category.
This particular role will work across the sales organization to close the deals on a crucial product (IT Deal Alert) to the company’s continued growth; as such it will receive significant attention and support.
Essential Job Functions:
- Achieve your revenue targets, growing that advertising revenue through new business development, ongoing client contact and account management;
- Increase depth of contact for assigned market and team by attending trade shows and active prospecting;
- Manage and increase sales within assigned vertical market by making a large volume of sales calls; and,
- Keep abreast of industry developments; stay involved in industry activities through participation in trades shows, industry associations, and industry functions.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
2 - 5 years of demonstrated sales success;
Excellent communication, sales and presentation skills are a must; and,
Qualified candidates must have a burning desire to be on a winning sales team and display extraordinary enthusiasm.
