In this high-profile entry-level marketing role, the Marketing Associate will support the entire Media Group Marketing Team to help execute on integrated marketing plans for audience development, member acquisition/retention, and campaign support of all TechTarget Storage/Data Center Strategy Media Group offerings. Specific initiatives include email marketing, ad creation, social media outreach and member partner acquisition for the media group.
 
Essential Job Functions:
·         Support marketing team in attaining goals for member acquisition, member retention, seminar recruitment and lead generation;
·         Create and execute e-mail marketing campaigns, including schedule development, audience segmentation, and email copy writing/setup;
·         Track email promotions and analyze results in order to gauge success and make suggestions/changes as needed;
·         Manage all aspects of media group partnerships to grow member base and brand awareness, including research, partner outreach/coordination and deliverables management/execution;
·         Monitor product promotion performance, proofread copy and provide critique for product performance associate;
·         Manage social media presence for media group via Twitter/LinkedIn;
·         Provide regular reporting and analysis for various marketing projects/campaigns;
·         Create, update and track website advertising across various channels;
·         Provide day-to-day assistance on additional projects with direction from marketing manager(s) and director; and
·         Proofread marketing materials
 
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
·         Bachelor's degree;
·         Proficient in Excel
·         Social media experience (Twitter, LinkedIn)
·         Attention to detail and accuracy;
·         Interest in copywriting and data analytics for marketing purposes;
·         Strong multi-tasking and time management skills;
·         HTML knowledge preferred; and
·         Familiarity with IT industry a plus
