Responsibilities
1.         Oversee development and management of web-based educational system
2.         Manage and support web/technology-based educational delivery  system
3.         Interact with internal and external partners in the development and management of online educational technology
4.         Partner with instructional designers and SMEs to develop and support an asynchronous technology platform – including portals, LMS, assessment platforms, eLearning authoring tools and mobile access applications
5.         Be responsible for development, testing, rollout and management of an eLearning platform, including client and SME support
6.         Research, evaluate and test relevant asynchronous delivery technologies
7.         Serve as the multimedia technology trainer for staff, SMEs and clients
8.         Integrate visual and audio technology solutions as part of an asynchronous course rollout
9.         Identify requirements for multimedia technologies necessary to produce and enhance web-based professional development education
10.       Evaluate new and existing technologies within the context of CS needs and requirements
 
Requirements
Education/Training.  The minimum educational requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Visual communications, or Instructional System Design
 
Amount of Experience-based Knowledge and Skills
1.         Minimum of four years’ experience and demonstrated expertise in educational technology, use of media in educational delivery, researching and implementing an LMS, and LMS maintenance and management
2.         Experience with Articulate and one or more of the following applications highly desirable:
a.         PhotoShop
b.         Captivate
c.         Flash Professional
d.         InDesign
e.         Acrobat
f.          Illustrator
g.         TechSmith Camtasia
h.         Adobe Premier
i.          Mobil applications
j.          Java script
k.         HTML and HTML5
3.         Experience working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the implementation of asynchronous courseware
4.         Demonstrated experience converting ILT courseware into fully asynchronous online learning experiences
5.         Demonstrated knowledge of principles and processes of effective educational multimedia design
6.         Creativity in the use of graphics and video inclusions in asynchronous design
7.         Ability to develop and implement new ideas
8.         Ability to troubleshoot an LMS and solve technical problems
9.         Strong technical aptitude and skills within the realm of asynchronous educational technology
10.       Ability to effectively interact with a broad range of stakeholders, including staff, SMEs and clients
11.       Very strong communication skills, including writing and presentations. Strong team-working skills
12.       Ability to research and learn new technology quickly
