Job Summary
 
The primary responsibilities of this job function are to design and build a scalable web application to assist in the information management of public safety organizations. You will be involved in all software product development including full lifecycle from specifications, analysis, planning, development, and deployment.

Requirements
 
  • Excellent Java coding skills
  • Experience in JEE web development
  • JSF, JPA, JMS expertise preferred
  • Strong designing and debugging skills
  • Skilled at database design/modeling
  • Knowledgeable of object-oriented programming methods
  • Familiar with agile development methodologies
  • Understanding of the product lifecycle
  • BS in Computer Science or related field

Essential Education, Work Experience and Skills

Education and Work Experience
Prefer a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or demonstrated work experience equivalent.

Preferred
Experience as a software developer working with scalable ERP applications for the web.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Essential technical knowledge, skills, and abilities include, but not limited to, MySQL or equivalent, JSP, Java, and knowledge of project management resources.
