JOB DESCRIPTION:    Satellite Office Quality Assurance Analyst
PROGRAM:        MDFT & EXCEL Contra Costa Programs
ACCOUNTABILITY:       EXCEL Program Manager/Quality Assurance Manager   
The Satellite Office Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for all on-going activities related to the maintenance of and adherence to systems, processes, policies and procedures for all quality assurance activities related to program services and Medi-Cal billing and compliance for the EXCEL Contra Costa and Multi Dimensional Family Therapy programs.


  • BA/BS degree or additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated awareness of, sensitivity to, and competence in dealing with cultural and socioeconomic diversity of client population.
  • Excellent organizational skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including data base use/management.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience performing Medi-Cal billing functions.
  • Experience performing quality assurance functions.
  • Valid California driver’s license, a clear driving record and personal vehicle insurance coverage.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements to bill for Medi-Cal services
  • Monitors case records for compliance with regulatory, statutory, and contracting requirements and standards. (Medi-Cal, CCL, Mental Health, etc.)
  • Participates in the clinical record audit processes, which ensure that documentation, authorizations, and consents are current and accurate.
  • Responsible for data entry into the internal data collection systems and county billing systems.
  • Respond to all maintenance requests on specific office equipment, which include copy machines, postage meter, and fax machines.
  • Provide assistance in ordering office supplies, purchasing and maintaining supply inventory.
  • Develop communication system, which will allow pertinent information to be disseminated to the appropriate staff.
  • Orient all new staff to office procedures and supplies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
CLASSIFICATION:    Non-Bargaining Unit, Exempt, Full-Time, Benefited.

COMPENSATION:    Commensurate with background and experience
