General Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, delivery and coordination of training initiatives as needed throughout the corporation. 
 
Essential Duties:  Participates in the design, development and implementation of learning program strategies to meet company needs and program goals; Participates in the development of monthly and annual schedule of company training programs and communicates effectively to staff; Supports management in ensuring skills learned in training programs are reinforced with staff by creating job aids and other learning reinforcement tools; Administers the Learning Management System and Learning & Development page on the company intranet; Participates and provides support to the Career Development process; Coordinates the Company Mentoring Program; Participates in New Employee On-Boarding Program as required; Manages and utilizes Learning Management System to support training initiatives; Provides a variety of Learning & Development reports; Travels as needed to identify training needs, provide one on one coaching, and facilitate training programs; Primary responsibility will be to travel within assigned affiliate; but may include traveling to other affiliates. Approximately 30% of the position requires some type of travel; Provides skill development and one on one coaching as requested;Ensures proper documentation and record keeping of all matters relating to Learning & Development and Human Resources Functions; Works closely with Business Partners to identify and support strategic initiatives that will optimize workplace performance in support of business goals; Remains current in regard to learning and development trends and strategies; Provides support to Subject Matter Experts to facilitate or design training programs.
 
Required Education, Training, and Experience: Education / Training: A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Strong facilitation skills; Ability to apply performance consulting techniques; Experience of designing and delivering a wide variety of training solutions and partnering with third parties; Demonstrated problem solving skills; Strong communicator in written and oral communications; Articulate and confident standing up and delivering to large audiences; Organized and self-starter; Results driven with the ability to handle multiple deadlines under pressure. Minimum one (1) year of experience in learning and development field and/or banking, financial or insurance field.
