Southwest Regional Medical Center is looking to hire a Mental Health Tech to work in the Inpatient Center for Recovery and Wellness.

The person will be responsible for the direct care of the patients on the unit.  This person will work closely wiht the LPN's, RN's, Activities Coordinators and Social Woorkers for the overall well being of the patient.

Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

The ideal candiadte will be a certified nursing assistant and will be able and/or willing to perform duties such as : bathing, feeding, waking, sitting with and watching over and assisting in the direct care of the patients based on thier individual needs.
