Charlie's Produce is a local produce distributor servicing our Northwest market for 30 years. We have distribution centers in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. We invite you to join our team! We are currently recruiting for a full time Data Entry/Ops Support Seattle produce distribution center.  


Shift: (4 -10 hour shifts/ 3 days off per week)
Sunday & Monday: 6pm – 430am
Thursday & Friday: 630pm – 5am

1 Saturday per month: 730pm – 10pm

Job Description: This position is responsible for performing all operations support functions and contributes to Charlie’s Produce success by accurately preparing and verifying the paperwork for outgoing drivers’ books and efficiently processing paperwork for our will call customers. Additional functions of the Data Entry Clerk include printing pick tickets, order maintenance, invoicing, answering customer phone calls, providing courteous customer service, and accurately entering customer orders into the order system, helping customers with questions about their account, or forwarding customers to the correct resource to get the help they need. Coordinate with other staff to help resolve any order issues and concerns, and utilize excellent customer service skills and perform other functions and special projects as needed.

  • Ten Key by touch / 5,000 key strokes per hour
  • One year of data entry experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven problem-solving skills able to deal with a variety of details simultaneously

  • Basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets (Excel)

  • Must be flexible to work varied shifts, nights and weekends

  • Order taking experience is a plus
