Position Description: Spa Retail Sales Associate - Part Time Position

The Spa Retail Sales Associate is responsible for exceptional customer service and the promotion of spa products and gift items in Retail Sales outlet.

* Place monthly retail vendor orders

* Perform opening and closing duties.

* Generate revenues by maximizing sales opportunities.

* Respond to daily e-mail and voice mail and write up phone and web    orders.

* Ship guest purchases, web and phone orders.

Receive, price, and stock merchandise.  Transfer items as necessary.

* Copy packing slips, file invoices, computer entry.  Assist with inventory maintenance.

* Keep displays clean, stocked and organized.  Rotate stock on shelves.

  • * Complete special projects as assigned by the Spa Director and/or Spa Retail Coordinator

  • * Possess excellent interpersonal and phone etiquette skills to provide outstanding guest service.

    * Experience in retail sales, specific to the Spa or Salon environments.

    * Become knowledgeable of all Spa treatments offered, and all products used in services.

    * Ability to pleasantly converse with guests, interpret their needs, and use suggestive selling techniques. Written and oral fluency in English is required.  A second language is preferred.

    * Possess basic math skills:  addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to use calculator and/or adding machine. Experience in Microsoft Word and Spa Soft preferred.
