Under the general direction of the Cord Blood Laboratory Supervisor of the Cord
Blood Laboratory, the Cord Blood Technologist will be responsible for performing all steps required to properly process progenitor cell products, using aseptic technique in accordance to the departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Bachelors degree in Medical Technology (preferred) or a related discipline. Two to three years experience in a clinical laboratory or blood center preferred. Certification through a nationally recognized agency (ASCP) preferred.
