Due to current business demands, we are seeking a Service Technician Lead to augment and support the property operations teams at Madison Park, a 344 unit luxury apartment community located in Thornton, CO.
Repairs all appliances and reports problems to Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
Monitors and replaces lights as necessary.
Monitors and changes locks, and make keys as necessary.
Ensures that all service requests are completed within 24 hours.
Performs exterior repairs to sinks and bathtubs, and minor repairs and replacement of bathroom tile.
Responsible for general maintenance of grounds, pools, office. May water flowers, give notices to residents and remove trash.
Completes general plumbing, electrical and appliances repairs.
Snow removal (if applicable per location)
Assist in inventory control
Assist in organization of maintaining the maintenance shop
May be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles (including golf carts)
May perform interior and exterior painting as necessary
May be responsible for landscaping and lawn care maintenance.
Performs other related duties as assigned by Community Manager or Service Supervisor

KNOWLEDGE: (EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE)
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certification: CPO/HVAC required. Additional courses preferred. Fair housing training and certification for Apartment Maintenance Technician required. Requires pool certification at properties with pools.
Experience: 2-4 years of practical experience required. Make-ready experience required with good understanding of pools, plumbing, electrical, etc. Drywall and painting experience may be required for smaller properties.
Working knowledge of repairs.
Supervisory Experience: 0 – 2 years of experience preferred.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be able to demonstrate required skills.
Fair housing training and certification for Apartment Maintenance Technician preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Requires written communication skills.
May be required to be on-call.
