Proposes, develops and facilitates training programs on company and industry information, management skills, soft skills and specific computer skills.

Develops training classes on various topics based on company needs.
Delivers ILT, webinars, large and small group training as well as one-on-one sessions.
Monitors progress of trainees and reports any issues to management. Makes recommendations on fit for position and potential position changes if necessary.
Assesses training needs.
Creates training materials and instructional plans.
Coaches and counsels trainees as necessary on issues including: processes, production levels, quality, and error documentation.
Produces and distributes regular training reports including progress of each trainee on productivity, quality and test scores.
Assists Quality Assurance team with test and script writing duties.
Manages instructional design process from the stakeholder overview to the lessons learned stage
Supports quality control efforts of trainees as needed.
Maintains training and reference materials.
Offers ideas related to system design.
Discusses the impact of system changes with the user community.
Establishes before and after process flows.
All other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business, Education, or related disciplines required

Must be flexible to work both 1st and 2nd shift.
2+ years prior training experience required
ASTD or other training certifications preferred
Proven experience and ability to train, coach and develop employees
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required - including presentation, facilitation, coaching, and feedback skills
Ability to work with and communicate effectively with staff members at all levels of an organization
Proven experience with adult learning principles
Demonstrated understanding of what customer service means and how it applies to Safeguard Properties.
Focus on continuous process improvement and error/defect/expense reduction
Problem-solving and analytical abilities
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point is required
Ability to handle multiple projects at once
Good organizational and detail-orientation skills
Experience with user interface, change management, or ERP implementation preferred
