Ayusa is seeking a skilled and motivated temporary Admissions Assistant to process student applications, create marketing materials, and conduct volunteer outreach to support the 2015-2016 student exchange program. This is an administrative position that requires good writing skills and attention to detail. It offers the benefit of exposure into the world of student exchange and experience in a cultural exchange office setting.  


  • Review applications from international students and analyze according to admissions standards
  • Input data and summarize information from applications
  • Create marketing pieces that effectively convey student personalities
  • Communicate with partners overseas to obtain missing information or clarification
  • Record and track information in Salesforce
  • Scan and upload supporting documentation
  • Assist with special projects and research related to host family recruitment


  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Administrative/office experience
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high volume setting, and achieve weekly performance goals
  • Superior writing skills and command of the English language (writing samples may be required)
  • Experience with cross-cultural communication
  • General computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office; Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Commitment to a full time position for 5 months with the possibility of extension


  • Hourly rate, $12/hr
