Position Summary
The primary role of the QA Analyst is to create and execute test scripts to test the business functionality. The QA Analyst would also be responsible for Defect Management, including identifying, documenting, logging and testing defects found during the test process. The QA Analyst will also facilitate user testing (including working with the Training Department and Business testers) and incorporate user feedback into the test scripts. Defects found by non-IT testers will need to be validated from the user test process.
The additional M3 QA Analyst role will focus on Regression testing for M3 and M2 test scripts, and will carry over the testing to M4. The QA Analyst role will also need to understand and stage the data needed for specific scenarios being tested.
The M4 QA Analyst role will have a focus on Workflow and interface testing. This role will be expected to be slightly more technical due to the interface testing required between VendorWeb2, INSPI and REOTrans.
Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Create well defined business scenarios within test scripts from Business Functional Documents
  • Gather data required to test business scenarios
  • Collaborate with the PGR team to determine if additional data is needed to properly execute test cases
  • Execute test scripts during the test process
  • Identify, document, log and test defects found during the test process
  • Facilitate Training Dept and Business testing
  • Update test scripts based on Trainer and/or Business feedback

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred or 5+ years of equivalent work experience required
  • 3-5 years experience eliciting and documenting user and technical requirements
  • 3-5 years experience monitoring requirements throughout the life cycle
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications required
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Basic project management experience, with the ability to make informed decisions and manage conflicting demands.
