Community Bank of the Chesapeake is dedicated to exceeding our customers expectations. We are currently looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for providing prompt, efficient, and friendly service that exceeds customer expectations. Tellers process transactions involving receipt and payment of cash and negotiable items for customers. Tellers also provide information about our products and services to customers based on their financial needs and goals. Tellers utilize sales skills to meet individual and branch goals.

Qualification Requirements
Qualified applicants must possess at least one year teller or retail cash handling experience and excellent customer service skills. Successful candidates must be service and sales minded, have a strong work ethic and possess excellent communication skills. Strong computer skills are required. Candidates must have the ability to work in a professional, team oriented environment.

Tellers are required to work a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays. This position requires lifting up to 30 lbs. and standing for long periods of time.
