JOB FUNCTION:

Receives incoming donations, sortís donations, hangs donations and maintain processing area in clean and orderly fashion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side and to lean and toss garments into containers or hang onto racks.
2. Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts, barrels, bins and make proper determination as to the quality of said donations.
3. Hang garments in a timely manner.
4. Keep production area clean.
5. Sort, box and label hangers by type.
6. Pair shoes and band with rubber band.
7. Push rolling racks or hoppers onto the sales floor.
8. Maintain a proper attitude in dealing with customers, clients and co-workers
9. Support safety program and perform all duties in accordance with same.
10. Maintain well groomed appearance and appropriate dress code.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. Ability to listen to and follow instructions.
2. Ability to lean and toss garments into containers or hanging area.
3. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
4. Ability to ambulate independently, to stoop, bend, kneel, push, and pull.
5. Ability to see and recognize colors.
6. Ability to lift forty (40) pounds.
7. Understand and follow oral instructions.
8. Ability to work under stressful conditions.

TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High School graduate or its equivalent.
2. Read and write and perform moderate math skills.
3. Prefer some past experience in retail and/or stock handling.
4. Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate services at all times.
5. Have a pleasant personality.
6. Successfully pass the validated selection test.
7. Pass the drug test.
8. Be able to work a flexible schedule.
