Southwest Regional Medical  Center is seeking a full time registered nurse. They will be responsible for all medication managment  and assessment of patients. They will work closely with the Physicians and nursing assistants to ensure the patients needs are being met.

Hourly rounding is an expectation of the RN and all care needed for that patient.

Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the medical-surgical setting.  Communicates with the interdisciplinary team as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.  Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Educates patients on health care issues and medications. Able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Great customer service skills are a must.

The shifts are typically 3, 12 hours shifts with rotaitng 7 am to 7 pm and 7 pm to 7 am shifts and alternating weekends.
