The successful candidate for the E-Commerce Marketing Manager will oversee site marketing efforts: email, paid search, SEO, remarketing, affiliates, partnerships, lead generation, content marketing. Lead e-commerce marketing for Leatherman.com and Ledlenserusa.com websites.
 
The ideal candidate must be able to:
Ecommerce Content Responsibilities
 
  • Assist in the build of the ecommerce content calendar.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive new marketing concept development.
  • Work with in-house and 3rd party creative to develop assets for campaigns; and ensure all visual and copy are concise, compelling, and on-brand.
  • Develop relationships with key online publishers and partners and work on developing innovative campaigns together.
  • Partner with international distributors to keep content up to date and fresh on international web properties.
Email Marketing Responsibilities
 
  • Work with e-commerce manager to create an email calendar and manage all email programs (marketing, triggers, transactional).
  • Develop new content, personalization and optimizations that drive repeat sales, retention and loyalty.
  • Analytics and testing support across email marketing initiatives – conduct A/B and multivariate tests, track and analyze performance and share out results with cross-functional partners.
Digital Marketing Responsibilities
 
  • Responsible for management and success of paid search and SEO channels.
  • Develop and execute advertising campaigns across affiliate and remarketing channels.
  • Improve customer engagement with Live Chat and Power Reviews.
  • Work with outside agencies to set performance targets, monitor campaign spends, and measure ROI across channels.
Additional Functions
 
  • Support ecommerce team with ad hoc projects and site developments.
 
Experience and Education Requirements:
 
  • Associates required.  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years marketing experience required.
  • Creative self-starter, comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong analytical capability – experience using web analytics tools such as Omniture, Google Analytics.
  • Data-driven marketer with strength in digital acquisition marketing.
  • Ability to work within email marketing platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail.  Must be relentless in maintaining a high level of quality throughout the website.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work efficiently and effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Work independently and possess a high level of creativity, self-motivation, and initiative.
  • Effectively problem solve, prioritize, and follow through on assignments and projects.
 
Physical Demands/Working Conditions/Physical Hazards:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently sits; talks and hears, uses hands to finger, handle, grasp, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee occasionally stands and walks; sits; climbs; twists, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment, and is occasionally exposed to production environment. Work area is well lit and air conditioned.
