Incredible opportunity to build your resume and learn about a large arts institution from the inside.  In this key summer position, you will work with all levels of donors ie:  Friends, Koussevitkzy Society and Business Partner contributors to Tanglewood.
  •  Serve as a customer service representative and resource person primarily by phone and in person.
  • Help supervise, schedule and train volunteers dedicated to covering business hours for the Tanglewood Friends Office.
  • Gift processing, data entry, basic correspondence, record keeping, event support and ongoing organization of materials and packets for office and membership cart.
  • Help facilitate concierge ticket requests and other donor requests relating to benefits.
  • Additional duties as required.
  • Exceptional administrative and customer service experience or the equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, including demonstrated proficiency in knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with relational databases a plus.  A basic knowledge of Tessitura software is preferred.
  • Proven attention to detail, ability to multi-task, self starter.
  • Friendly and helpful demeanor and good communication skills required.
  • Interest in music, non-profit and development a plus.


Dates of Employment: June  –August  2016. This position will require night and weekend work, not to exceed 40 hours per week.    HOUSING NOT PROVIDED
