Horizon Media, Inc., headquartered in New York City, is the largest independent media services company in the world.   We are currently seeking Summer Interns to work in our Scout Sports and Entertainment Department.   Our Summer Internship Program is designed to be extremely hands on and educational.
 

Scout Sports and Entertainment was launched in November of 2010 to serve as the full-service sports and entertainment division of Horizon Media.  Horizon Media, headquartered in New York City, is the largest independent media services company in the world.

 

Scout offers a full suite of services including sponsorship consulting, brand marketing development, sports and entertainment analysis, event execution and property representation.  Brands are always looking to catch lightning in a bottle. Scout’s mission is to develop compelling and innovative sports and entertainment solutions based on the marketing challenges and objectives of our clients.

 

We are currently seeking interns for the summer of 2013.  As a member of Scout, you will assist the dedicated account team with day-to-day responsibilities, including account management, sponsorship activation, event execution, analysis, vetting and research.  You will work in our award-winning New York City headquarters alongside interns from the various brand strategy groups and activation arms of Horizon and take part in a summer-long educational series that will provide you with a holistic understanding of the sports, entertainment and media industries.

 

Candidates must be entering their Junior or Senior year, with at least a 3.0 GPA.  Previous internships in Sports Marketing, Entertainment, Event Management, or Media are a plus.  This is a paid position.  Please submit your resume if you are interested in applying.
