Ohio Dominican University’s Division of Business seeks a full-time Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor of Accounting for the 2014-2015 academic year. The Division of Business offers seven undergraduate majors and three graduate programs.
The successful candidate will possess at least a master’s degree in accounting, taxation, or business, and a professional certification in accounting (e.g., CPA, CMA). A doctorate in accounting or business with a professional certification in accounting is preferred. All degrees must be from accredited institutions and earned by the time of hire.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong interest in quality teaching, student advising, and leadership of accounting student organizations. The teaching load will be twelve credits each semester. Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the different delivery formats, development of courses to support traditional and adult programs, and service to the university, community, and division. Candidates must support the university’s Catholic identity and its mission in the Dominican tradition to serve all seekers of truth.
