Ohio Dominican University is continually searching for part-time faculty members to teach in a variety of academic disciplines.

Our Physician Assistant Studies Program is seeking applicants to teach the Pediatrics portion of our Women’s Health and Pediatrics course in clinical medicine. The course includes the discussion of diseases and other conditions relating to the various medical disciplines (e.g., Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Pulmonology etc.) from a pediatric point of view. Various aspects of development from birth to adolescence and issues related to violence and behavior is also discussed.

This course is offered in the summer semester.  Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Pediatrics who hold a Master’s Degree as a PA or a clinical degree in a related field. Current licensure and certification as well as possession of or eligibility for registration to practice as a PA, NP, DO or MD in the state of Ohio is required.
Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, Curriculum vitae and contact information for three professional references on-line through our website.
We maintain a file of potential candidates that we review when a specific need arises. We contact candidates when we find a match and keep these positions continually posted so that we can maintain an active and up to date pool. Ohio Dominican offers classes in the daytime, at night, and online in a variety of academic disciplines. Minimum qualifications to teach courses at the university include a master’s degree and a strong interest in teaching. Prior teaching experience, especially of adult learners, is a plus.

Again, we are continually searching for adjuncts on as need basis. If there is a suitable opening, the university will contact qualified applicants for an interview.
