Ohio Dominican University’s Division of Mathematics, Computer and Natural Sciences seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer Science or Software Engineering for a fulltime, tenure track position beginning August 2013.

At the undergraduate level, the Division offers B.S. degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Exercise Science, and Mathematics. At the graduate level, the Division offers an M.S. in Exercise Science and Physician Assistant Studies. The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Software Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited institution by the time of hire, and demonstrate excellence in teaching and potential for scholarship. This position provides an opportunity to be on the ground floor in the development of a new Software Engineering program, where innovation and entrepreneurship are valued.

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in computer science and software engineering. Additional responsibilities include development of courses to support the program; advising; and service to the university, community, and division.
