Ohio Dominican University is conducting a search for an Assistant Director of Individual and Reunion Giving to work with our University Advancement team.

The Assistant Director of Individual Giving assists in establishing and managing relationships with alumni, friends, and faculty/staff of Ohio Dominican University, with primary focus on engaging and re-engaging individual prospects capable of giving in excess of $1,000 through managing reunion giving for 15 year+ reunions and other special engagement and fundraising initiatives. S/he will oversee and regularly visit a portfolio of prospects, will evaluate, cultivate, and solicit financial contributions; and will steward donors in accordance with the University funding priorities and under the direction of the Director of Individual Giving. The Assistant Director of Individual Giving works collaboratively with the members of the Advancement team, especially in coordination with the Alumni Relations & Annual Fund team, as well as University faculty, staff and students, in any and all activities that advance the mission and vision of Ohio Dominican University.
 
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Two-three years of professional experience in fundraising or related experience in client development and/or project management in communications, marketing, market research, sales, public relations or related field. Candidates with experience in Higher Education preferred.  Demonstrated success in raising gifts and building a donor base all required. Continuing education in philanthropy and membership in CASE or AFP also preferred. Proficiency with MS Office, Word and Excel also required.
