Ohio Dominican University’s Division of Business seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor of Sport Management for a full-time tenure track position beginning August 2013.

The Division of Business offers an undergraduate degree in sport management and will be introducing a graduate degree in the fall of 2013. The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. in sport management from an accredited institution by the time of hire, and demonstrate excellence in teaching and potential for scholarship in a subject content area.

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in sport management, including expertise in several of the following sport content areas: finance and economics, marketing, legal aspects, governance, psychology, communication, and event and facility management.  Additional responsibilities include development of courses to support on ground and online programs, overseeing graduate capstones and theses, advising, and service to the university, community and division.  Candidates must support the university's Catholic identity and its mission in the Dominican tradition to serve all seekers of truth.
