Ohio Dominican University, an NCAA Division II institution in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Men’s and Women’s Golf Graduate Assistant. The position will begin August 2014.
Ohio Dominican is a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and offers 18 intercollegiate sports. This position will assist in all aspects of the men’s and women’s golf program including: golf instruction, practice planning and preparation, and recruitment of qualified student-athletes. This position will be responsible for the coordination of team travel arrangements, and administrative duties for ODU hosted men’s and women’s golf tournaments. This position will also assist with alumni and community relations, fundraising, and a monthly newsletter.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree, experience as a college golf student-athlete preferred or a minimum of 2-years coaching experience. Qualified candidate must show demonstrated coaching success, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
